Pumpkin Patch
Kids Under 12 are welcome to choose a free pie-size pumpkin from the pumpkin patch! Please note, limit one per child. Paint markers and stickers available to personalize your pumpkin! Bring your pumpkin over to the decorating tents for more fun and don’t miss our pumpkin games zone for all ages!
Presented by Priority Health, guests can trick-or-treat, collect giveaways, and learn from the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy’s wonderful community partners along the Kids Adventure Trail.
Kids Adventure Trail
Huron-Clinton Metroparks
Visit the Mort Harris Outdoor Classroom to experience all that nature has to offer with the Huron-Clinton Metroparks. Hands-on and FUN science lessons the first quarter of every hour from 12pm-4pm.
Delta Dental Play Garden
The Delta Dental Play Garden is the ultimate destination for play in Southeast Michigan. This one-of-a-kind playground invites young visitors to explore in unforgettable ways, with giant slides, climbing towers, swings and more.
Playscapes found around the Play Garden, including those at the Henry Ford Health Tot Lot feature animals native to Michigan. Children can trek through Bernstein Bear’s Woodland to take a journey down the twenty-foot-tall slide, or they can discover the power of the Detroit River in the uniquely interactive Gilbert Family Foundation Water Wonderland. More slide adventures await at the Charles & Sarah McClure Slide Bay, filled with towers, treehouses and other climbing attractions. The Delta Dental Play Garden is sure to provide priceless childhood memories and adventures for generations of Detroiters to come.
The Delta Dental Play Garden is open 11am-8pm with a special Park After Dark Glow Party from 6-8pm on October 25 & 26 with free glow materials provided while supplies last
Art Alley
Follow the path near the Play Garden to explore your creative side! Activity partners include Arts & Scraps, Signal Return, the Marshall M Fredericks Sculpture Museum, and the Arab American National Museum. Plus free face painting and temporary tattoos!
Sensory Friendly Zone
Autism in the D will provide a sensory space designed for neurodiverse individuals and those with sensory sensitivities, located near the Delta Dental Play Garden.
